The country had a big chance to become a great market for gambling but instead, they decided to regulate gambling “province by province”, like the USA.
In Argentina, there are 23 provinces plus the “Ciudad Autónoma de Buenos Aires”.
One of those provinces is “Province of Buenos Aires”.
Therefore, we have to differentiate between Ciudad de Buenos Aires and the Province of Buenos Aires.
Ciudad de Buenos Aires, Ciudad Autónoma de Buenos Aires or just “Capital Federal” is the capital of the country and the most populated city.
The Province of Buenos Aires is one of the 23 provinces of Argentina.
